Big Boy

Today we went to the doctor's office for our 6 month well check. Cruz is doing excellent! He is 27 inches long, 17 pounds 8.5 ounces. The doctor was impressed by his abs and his all around strength. I think he was showing off a little though because he went to a crawl position and then went from his knees to his feet so he was holding a downward dog pose for her. She laughed and said, "Lower his crib and baby-proof your whole house!"

We are continuing to explore new flavors and foods. So far we've successfully eaten, peas, sweet potato, pears and bananas. Tonight we tried green beans and he's definitely my son because I think it hit his gag reflex! He did not seem to like them at all and was making quite a funny face! I won't be biased and I'll try them again since he was tired and cranky from getting the shots today. Yuck - I actually feel bad making him eat green beans, ew! LOL
