hello friends!

Hello friends,

It has been a while! WOW!! I am sorry and I have not forgotten about you! We are doing fantastic over here in AZ! Cruz is such a delight and a funny little man lately! His scoots are slowly turning into more of a crawl. We'll get a two second crawl and then he's down and then he's back up and a little crawl and repeat!! He's into EVERYTHING he can reach and although I'm already getting overwhelmed with a baby on the move I secretly love it because it's so cute and I love to watch him figure these things out. Yesterday as I watched closely from the kitchen he stood up holding onto his music table and then just stood there playing with it, it was great! About an hour later he stood up in his crib ... higher off the floor therefore, not as cute!

We had a wonderful visit from Auntie Kim a couple weekends ago! It was so much fun and Cruz had a new friend to play with! Cruz loves Auntie Kim and I love to watch them together! Cruz took her to music class with him and we all went to the pool to hang out for an afternoon! Kim also got the wonderful experience of putting Cruz to bed while Mario and I got date number 2!! That was probably not the highlight of her weekend but they both made it through!! Good job Auntie! We miss you!

Kim left on Mother's Day and Mario, Cruz and I went to a resort pool for the day! I was lucky enough to get a nice relaxing massage while Mario and Cruz splashed around in the pool. My first mother's day was great! It's still crazy to me to think of myself as a mom so it was a great day for me to stop and take a breath and give me a chance to appreciate my little family and my awesome, growing up to fast boy!! It was a perfect family day!!
