Long time no bloggy

Hi everyone, well I am just full of excuses today!! Basically I do not like my own writing so I rely on the pictures on this blog to get me through. That being said, my camera lense cover broke so the glass was exposed so when Cruz tried to eat it one day I hid it. Since Cruz is so smart and fast lately I hid it really good, so good that i cannot find it. ha! I know what you're all thinking and I have cleaned the house. I have no clue where I put it or I maybe put it out of my own reach too! That being said I'll just fill you in on ALL the new happenings around the house!

Where did I leave off ... So Auntie Kim came to visit for a long week which was so fun and once she was gone we had a relaxing week before my parents came to visit! Little did I know at that time but that might be my last relaxing week ever!!

The week my parents were here was great as always. Cruz always had a friendly face to play with and he was worned out so slept and napped pretty well too! We went on with our week as normal just with more help and someone to sit with Cruz at all times. He loves his grandparents and had so much fun! We took them to the park and swim class with us and to music. They got to live a week in the life of their grandson! On the weekend my dad, Mario and myself got to play some golf while grandma babysat! Then we all went up to Sedona and Mario and I had an afternoon biking outing which was long overdue! In true Cruz fashion (the show off he is) he mastered the art of crawling on all 4's and pulling himself up on EVERYTHING before my parents left. This was so great to share with them ... it still amazes me how one day he can barely sit up on his own and a week later he is crawling all over the place!
Thanks again for a great visit mom and dad! We miss you!!

Watching Cruz pull himself up all the time and crawl everywhere (he's no longer afraid of the tile) is so great and puts the biggest smile on our faces, however, is also the reason there may never be a peaceful relaxing weekend again. LOL He is always moving and just getting faster. I cannot leave him for one second or he will be climbing up on the couch over the tile and I panic. Or he'll pull himself up on the wall and bang his head, ouch! I now have to wait until he naps to do the simple things in life, get a drink, pee, get dressed! It is so cool but so exhausting! It did take me over 15 minutes to chase him around the house last night to put his pj's on, phew!

It is getting into the triple digits here in AZ and it's a great time to bring Cruz to the pool. He loves the pool and it is so fun for him because it's zero entry so he can hang out around the edge and safely crawl and splash. I am so happy we moved to the neighborhood we are in and the pool facilities are going to make this summer (and the ones to come) great!
