Seriously people, where does the time go? It is almost July, WHAAAAT!! I can't believe it. My big baby is on the plus side of 2 1/2 years old and my little baby is 1/2 a year old!! In another week or so it'll make 5 years of marriage for Mario and I, unbelievable! I really do feel blessed with all life has brought me!! :o)
Since we've "chatted" last Luna has been introduced to food. She seems to really like it. Haven't eaten too much yet but cereal and some orange veggies, all a success so far! She is also working on her first couple teeth. Well, tooth I guess. One has broke through the surface and I don't see the second but I'm assuming it's not far behind! She is now a scooting machine and it's already making me nervous! Poor Cruz, I harass him about leaving any toys around and if I find little ones I throw them away or hide them so she can't try to eat them. It is so fun to watch her go but I forget that they don't just sit when you want them to stay put either!! Cruz today told me Luna was ready to walk like him! ha! I don't think he knows what he's in for! Be patient my little boy!
yum yum!
A couple weeks ago we were so lucky to have a HUGE hot air balloon land literally right in front of our house!! We were outside looking at it because it was really close and Cruz said, "Mom, it's going to land right there" I laughed and said, "They can't land there, they're not allowed" Apparently joke was on me. Good thing we went back out to check it again!! I was right that they are not allowed but hey, if you're stuck in the air with no wind you don't always have the choice, right!? Sorry the pics are sideways, I was hoping they would stay right side up but no luck.
We got to watch them take the balloon down and fold it all up too!
The weather may be HOT but that doesn't stop my boys! Figured I'd share a pic of our nightly baseball game! Both boys are in heaven!!
My kiddos! They love my impromptu photo shoots! I need to start washing faces first though because I'm pretty sure Cruz's is covered with food! Oh well, adorable pics all the same!!
Cruz and Mommy made robots the other day! He was very proud of them so I am sharing with everyone!
Cruz and Daddy mow the lawn. So cute!! Cruz loves his daddy and it so excited when he gets to do these things!! He's so lucky to have such a wonderful dad!
Our new summer obsession, "our seeds". It all started at the library where we planted some seeds. WOW - they grew and I had one excited little boy! Mario took Cruz to home depot to buy more seeds and potting soil and we now have a ton of seeds planted and growing. Everyone morning the first thing we do when we wake up is check on our seeds! The coolest part is that they are different every day and there are more and more things sprouting up every couple hours! Now if I can figure out how to keep them all alive long enough to get flowers or be able to eat the Cilantro then we will be golden!!
