Cruz loves animal crackers!! As he loves animals and animal sounds! I had to put him in his high chair to get him to sit still so I could share some of his fun sounds with everyone! He does a couple more animal sounds but I didn't want to push my luck!! He is repeating us a lot and saying a lot of words, it's great. He has taken a liking to "Thank you" which makes me very happy! He's starting to say it more often and I hope that sticks! I hope you enjoy this little clip!

dancing Dancing DANCING
For anyone that I have spoken to in the past couple weeks, I'm sure I've told you about Cruz's new dance move. It still is the funniest thing when he starts getting into it and really groving. The good news is I was able to find my video camera and catch a quick second of it on video. The first video below is a very quick second of Cruz doing his dance to "I'm Elmo and I know it". Don't be surprised that he has food all over his face! When he's not dancing he's breaking into the "snack shack" and helping himself to some goodies! His new favorite snack is teething bars, I hope it's just because he is teething and getting some pearly whites in the back!
Video number 2: This is a little more indepth of all of Cruz's moves. I believe we have a little head banging in there, a little rave dancing, another quick funny move and some drumline!! He still keeps getting more and more fun and more and more funny!! I hope you enjoy!

HAPPY 2012!!
Happy New Year friends and family!!
I hope everyone had a safe, happy, and wonderful new year! 2011 was another awesome year. I still can't believe how fast it flew by. Our little man is now 14+ months old and is still changing by the hour. The things he learns in his sleep these days seems to be amazing! His vocabulary is starting to really develop which is so cool to witness and watch in front of your eyes!! In the past week he has figured out how to open doors. Oh boy, there goes my baby proofing. On the other hand though, when he's hungry he just lets himself in the pantry and gets a snack. yeah, it's great! LOL Another new game for him is to brush his teeth (shown below). He likes to take his toothbrush and find a cozy place to sit while he brushes, it's rather sweet! He enjoys reading books again which is wonderful! He points to the objects as you read about them or if you ask where something is on the page he tries to point to it. We are having so much fun it's great!!
We have finally de-christmased the house, well mostly anyway, I keep finding random things I forgot but We're almost there! Cruz was a big help in the de-christmasing! He tangled himself up in all the tree decorations and pulled everything else he could reach off the counters!!
