October

It seems as though I haven't posted a picture of my spooky little ghost or my amazing little Jake and the Neverland Pirate!!  Rrrr you loving these two as much as I am!?  Too cute!!  Cruz had so much fun for Halloween!  He was loving seeing everyone else in costumes and everyone's decorations.  I think he enjoyed passing out candy as much as (if not more than)getting candy from everyone else.  It is really awesome watching him grow and become such a "big boy"!!

 

 Of course Halloween is not Halloween without our traditional Cheesy Mummy Dog dinner with a blood bath!  Love these things and fortunately so do my kiddos (or at least one of them - Cruz does)

Cruz is three now and it's funny to say my once timid little boy likes a little adventure and danger in his old age! He was definitely not heavy enough to be on this carnival jumper but the kid in charge let him go anyway and he just kept pulling him down and Cruz would fly on up in the air.  So fun and funny! 

 Cruz has been sleeping pretty good lately so after he went to bed the night before his birthday I decorated his door and set up a little table in front.  Yup, you guessed it, he got up like 3 times that night and every time was so annoyed by the streamers and just kept saying, "What is this?"  Oops!  Sorry kiddo!

 Favorite part about his birthday and just like his momma he was loving his ice cream cake!!  That was always my tradition as a kiddo, I had to have a carvel ice cream cake so I shared with him!  He loved having ice cream for breakfast!  Yup, I said breakfast!!

Lucky little ducky got a lot of cool things for his birthday but the coolest of all is that we left the very next day to go to Disneyland!!  SO MUCH FUN!!!  That is another post for hopefully later this week!  Check you later!

Happy 3rd Birthday Cruz!

I cannot believe my baby is 3.  It has been 3 amazing, wonderful, educational, emotional, spiritual, tiring years!  I am the luckiest woman in the world because I have the best best little boy ever.  His hugs melt me and his laugh intoxicates me!  Cruz you mean the world to daddy, Luna and I, we love you with all of our hearts to the moon, back and back to the moon!!!  XOXO

 

October Madness!

Hello all!  We are doing well here in AZ!  The weather has been beautiful.  It seems that the heat broke much earlier than years past!  We've been enjoying some time out in the (still warm) sun and playing in the sand and playgrounds.  Luna has tasted and tried enough sand to hopefully realize that she doesn't like it and maybe she will stop soon, yeah right!! 

This week coming up is a big week!  My beautiful niece Naomi turns 1 tomorrow (10/21).  I cannot believe that it was a year ago that she came into the world.  Time seriously flies!!  She is so awesome and love love love the videos I get of her!  I only wish I could see her more often and my kiddos could play with her and I could give her all the auntie hugs in the world. 
Tuesday (10/22) my own awesome, spunky, funny big boy turns 3.  He is such an awesome kiddo and I can't even remember life before him.  He keeps us on our toes and he keeps teaching us new things everyday!!  Love you Cruz!

 Pumpkin patch!!  Yes they have pumpkin patches in AZ.  Notice the shorts although it actually was a perfect day with a cool-ish breeze!  Pumpkin patch came with a corn maze, hay rides, petting zoo, etc.  All things I love!!  Ah, it's that time of the year!!  Love me some good fall activities!

Viva Vacation!!

Wow, we have been having a fun busy summer (obviously since you haven't heard from us in a couple months!!)!  The end of July we went on a fantastic family vacation to Rhode Island!  We, being the whole extended Houde clan, rented an adorable beach house out in Narragansett!  What a wonderful way to all get together and enjoy a relaxing week!  There was lots of firsts too, meeting new cousins and nieces for the first times!  It was pretty awesome all around!  The week started off with a bang with my good friend Meghann's wedding, which was absolutely fabulous and it was so so great to be with the old crew again, I love and miss my high school friends so much!!  The rest of the week was just another day at the beach, and let me tell you is not always as simple as it seems with two little ones under 1  ;o)  Wish we could go back and do it again tomorrow!!  Here are some clips from our week ...

Family, it was so nice to see a lot of the family, unfortunately we didn't get to see everyone.  It's so hard to catch everyone when you are in town for such a small time.  For those of you we saw, it was so good to see you.  For the rest of you, sorry, next time!?  I couldn't put all the pics of everyone in the blog because it'd be too long but I tried to get a few good snipits!!

Friends, it was so good to see some friends!!  I got to see all my high school friends at Meghann's wedding and then a few again also but only got to see one of my college friends ... I owe another visit out there soon!  Either alone or once Luna is old enough to sit through a movie on a flight (she did well but I don't want to do that again!)  Below is my good friend Lisa, her husband Cory and their adorable son Max, what a cutie he is!!  Then below those is my good friend and Boston roomie, Kate!  It was so awesome of you to come down to visit!  Thank you so much for making the drive, that was awesome!!  XOXO

Beach: What's a family beach vacation without a little beach!!  It was pretty nice, a little seaweedy one time but overall the weather was awesome and the sand was great!!

 Of course we also made some family time!  A nice little afternoon at the light house!!
