Bring on the firsts ... Haircut time!!

Luna got her first haircut!  I was a little hesitant but Mario gave me the extra push I needed.  I was able to cut a little of Cruz's on my own before I actually took him to the professionals but Luna's hair is a lot different  and I didn't know where to begin ... Oh yeah, I would've started with the tail in the back but had no clue what to do with the front.  Anyway, we went and she did awesome!!  I let her go first and Cruz went second.  I didn't want to give her the chance to freak out.  She did not cry which is great and she sat pretty still which was awesome!  The hair dresser wanted me to hold Luna on my lap but I thought she'd sit more still in the Bumbo seat so I used that!!  Besides, if I held her, who would take pics!!  Luckily it all worked out well and I got some cute pictures!!!  Enjoy!

Family in town!

We had such a great visit with my parents the end of April!  We were able to celebrate their 40th anniversary with them!  We took them up to the Grand Canyon on their actual anniversary, April 28th!  It was a really nice day and my dad's first time there which is special!  They also got to join me for Cruz's first swim of the season and Luna's first swim ever!!  Pretty cool!  The weather still wasn't too hot so we were able to get out to Bearizona and see some animals and also get out on a couple walks/hikes!  So nice having them here for a whole week!  It was great for me (actually got to get out and get a haircut!) and for the kiddos, they love having grandparents around!!
