The mom's group I'm in here does some pretty awesome things! A couple days ago we went on a tour of the local fire station! It was so great! The firemen were so nice and all the kiddos had so much fun! I wasn't sure how Cruz would be since he LOVES fire trucks but when he sees firemen or if he'd ever gotten the opportunity to go in a fire truck before he'd run but he had a blast! We toured their living quarters, their rooms, kitchen, tv room, the firemen taught about stop, drop and roll and 911 (well as much as you can with 1-3 year olds), they got to sit in the fire trucks and they were even given the opportunity to wear a real life fire helmet (We passed on that one, maybe next year!!). It was so cool to see all the little ones so into it and so excited for their very own fire helmet once we were done! Thank you do much Daisy Mountain Firemen, you are our very own local heroes!!

It's gettin hot in here!
It is starting to warm up in AZ!! It feels like it was cold a week or two ago, oh wait, it was!! This week however we had our first 90 degree day. Not sure I'm quite ready for this but no one asked me and I think it's more of a ready or not here it comes! I'm sure most of you reading this are annoyed with the previous statements! I've been lucky to talk to a lot of RI friends this week and I understand it is pretty cold still! Sorry to complain!! The good news is it's still Spring Training for a couple more weeks so you should've all planned a vacation to come visit, enjoy the heat and watch some awesome baseball. We have been to a couple games since my last post but I have no pics from them below ... maybe next time!! Actually I probably should have checked the past couple posts to make sure I'm not reusing all the same pics! Either way, enjoy them ...
Luna is getting better with her head control and being a little more tolerant with her tummy time! Baby bootcamp continues!!
I couldn't resist sharing this one! It's cute to see Cruz and Luna be silly and interact more. Ok, the only interaction comes from Cruz imitating Luna but I like that he tries to play with her! He also sings to her and likes to talk to her and read her books! My sweet babies!!
Not quite sure if this is a kiss or a pout. I know which one it probably is but for the sake of keeping up his angel status I'll say he is sending me (and all of you) a big kiss!
Daddy took Cruz out to the open rock area across the street to learn how to fly a kite! Yup, that's Cruz flying his first kite! What a kid!
Good thing he can't text yet, he doesn't need any more distractions behind the wheel!
Double Stroller! Yup, we finally got one and more impressively we've been using it! Got to get our runs in before the weather gets even hotter! Cruz was lucky enough to help daddy to put it together and while we were changing into our running sneakers he filled up the tires! He's getting pretty handy! Daddy's a good teacher!
Cruz loves Luna cuddles. They usually look like this! He used to try to lay on her and we settled for this! Luna looks like she's reaching for a little pat on the head too, or to pull him off! I guess only time will tell for that one!
My little punk rocker! She looks like a wild child with her zebra pants, I LOVE it! Her hair is growing pretty fast it seems or I guess it just depends on how it dries after bath because it always looks different, this look is one of my favorites though!!
She couldn't stay serious for too long. I love this one because she looks like she is hysterically laughing. She doesn't really laugh yet but I bet it will look like this! All I know is she was loving life right there!! Love it!
Happy Spring to everyone!

Play Ball
We had such a great weekend last weekend. Carmen, Antonio and Tony came to AZ to visit and take in some Spring Training baseball games!! The weather was a bit all over the place but we had such a fun weekend! They all came in on Friday and Cruz was SO excited!! He had so much fun hanging with the fam! Saturday's game was at Diablo Stadium, home of the Angels! The weather was great and we were able to just chill on the grass and watch the game!
Sunday ... weather was well, a bit chillier! We changed it up a little and watched some amateur baseball. Obviously this was just as fun! Mario and Tony played baseball with some of Mario's friends. The weather was pretty cold and very windy. We were all bundled up! Cruz was definitely not used to being all bundled. He couldn't quite figure out how to do anything with his big heavy jacket on! It was pretty funny!
Monday's game was gorgeous again! This time we were at the home of the Dodgers! We were able to go a little early to watch batting practice and get some autographs and talk to some of the players! It was pretty cool! I'm excited for when Cruz is a little older and will get excited for the players but for now it's cool to see him just think they are nice men stopping to say hi and write on his ball! Besides, uncle Tony is excited for both of them, jk!!
Thanks for coming to visit us! We love this time of year, the weather is great and the spring training games are so fun to go to! Anyone else want to join us in the next couple weeks or sometime in the future, March is a pretty awesome month to visit ... just saying!!
