Fishy Fishy

Fishy Fishy, or as Cruz would say, "Mishy Mishy" sometimes "Bishy Bishy". We went to Anthem Days this weekend. It's a carnival that comes to town and takes over the large park in the center of town. Cruz is still too young to go on the rides but we went anyway to check out the carny folk and to people watch I guess. Mario played a game and won Cruz some goldfish. Cruz was so excited about the fish!! He kept pointing to them in the bag and saying "Mishy Mishy" every once in a while he'd say "Nemo" so now we have a family pet, two goldfish both named Nemo! He likes to watch these little mishies swim around. Only once has he tried to grab one! ah!

Spring Fever

Another great weekend, a cold rainy one but a good one! We had family in town (Carmen, Antonio, Tony, Liliy and Kenny) and the weather was not so friendly but that didn't stop us. We went to a couple spring training games, Saturday night and Sunday. We got rained out (or hailed out) of the second half af the Dodgers game on Sunday but had better than expected weather for the first half and some yummy carmel kettlecorn!! There's something about having family close even if it is just for a weekend, it's such a comforting feeling! We miss you ... come back!!! ha

Well the weather is back to awesome and spring is in full bloom! Cruz loves going to the spring training games and that makes us happy because we do too! A couple more this weekend before it ends I think, yes please!! :o)

Cruz has a new springtime activity. He's always loved to drive his car but finally he has taken a liking to cleaning his car! We all washed our cars the other day, Cruz was soaked from head to toe and grinning from ear to ear. I think he was liking the attention to detail on the big cars!!

We had a great weekend last weekend. We went down (over?) to LA to visit the family and celebrate Angelica's quinceanera. It was great to see all the family and Cruz loved the Mariachis and all the fun dancing. We are also so lucky and excited to Welcome some of the family back here this weekend for some spring training games!! Hope the weather holds up! Happy Spring to all!!

Feburary Highlights

Time is sure flying by. I keep saying that I'm going to be better about blogging but then, oops the month is over and I've only thrown out a couple posts. That being said I went through my February photo album and grabbed some pics from the month to share with you all. So we are still just enjoying the nice weather and taking advantage of all outdoor activites before the heat gets unbearable! The weather has been perfect (70's) which means we go to parks in the afternoon. Cruz has been working on his golf swing and soccer game in the back yard. We all, yes all (Mario, Cruz and myself) went golfing last weekend. It was a small family golf course and we were able to bring Cruz with us. We played 9 holes as Cruz drove the golf cart and said "WOW" to all our shots! He also took a couple of his own!! We're loving every second with this little guy lately, he just keeps getting more and more fun!! We miss you all!
